Account Deletion

You can delete your BuddyPay account at any time using either of the methods below.

1. Delete via the App

Open BuddyPay and navigate to Account Tab → Account Management → Delete Account. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion.

2. Delete via Email

Send a deletion request to support@buddypay.app from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm once complete.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal information — including your name, email address, and profile picture — from our systems within 30 days.

Expense records you created in shared groups may remain visible to other group members as part of their shared history, but your personal details will be disassociated from those records.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you wish to use BuddyPay again after deletion, you will need to create a new account.
